Vision and mission
To be a leading diving academy in India, fostering a strong community of skilled, confident, and passionate divers who can represent the sport with pride.
To produce high-quality divers through structured coaching, expand the diving fraternity, and create opportunities from grassroots to competitive levels.
What we do
Some students arrive to learn a new sport. Some arrive for strength, flexibility, and confidence. Some stay long enough to compete for medals. Our job is to meet them seriously at every stage.
Beginners are introduced to body control, board confidence, water entry, safety, and discipline before advanced skills are layered in.
Diving develops mobility, core strength, courage, posture, focus, and explosive coordination in a way ordinary fitness routines rarely do.
For athletes ready to compete, the academy prepares them for school meets, state meets, nationals, and international representation.
Your path here
Every athlete moves through the same five stages — at their own pace, with no step skipped.
Reach out through the website, a call, or a visit. Tell us the athlete’s age and experience — none required.
Based on where it’s easiest for you to train consistently, we place the athlete in the right centre and batch to begin.
Based on age, water comfort, and goals, we place the athlete in the right training batch — foundational through competitive.
Skills build board by board, tracked dive-by-dive in the athlete’s own portal checklist, with attendance and coach feedback along the way.
When the athlete is ready, we prepare and enter them for school, state, national, and international meets.

Testimonials
A few words from the parents and athletes who train with us. (Placeholder quotes, written on their behalf — swap in their own words whenever you have them.)
“My son joined more out of curiosity than anything else. Within a few months I noticed the difference off the board, not just on it — the patience, the way he prepares before trying something new. That focus didn’t come from nowhere.”
— Amey, parent
“What stood out to us was how individually every child is coached. Our daughter was never rushed into anything — every step forward was one the coaches were sure she was ready for. That kind of care is what builds real trust.”
— Komal, parent
“I started diving well past the age most people think is ‘normal’ for it, and it’s been one of the better decisions I’ve made. An hour at the pool, away from screens and deadlines, does more for my head than I expected.”
— Kalpesh, adult athlete
FAQ
Diving is often mistaken for a sport with a narrow entry window. In practice, the pool welcomes a five-year-old and a fifty-year-old on the same evening — just on different boards, at different paces.
Yes. Every child is coached individually and only moves to the next skill once a coach is satisfied they're ready — nothing is rushed, and nothing is attempted alone. Progress is paced to the child, not to a schedule, with a qualified coach present and supervising every session.
Yes. Every diver starts the same way, at whatever pace suits them: getting genuinely comfortable in the water first, then building skills gradually toward the 1m board — with height and difficulty added later, as technique allows. We have trained first-time divers well into their thirties and forties alongside children as young as five.
Water absorbs the landing that a hard court, track, or gym floor would otherwise put through your knees, ankles, and spine. That means divers still build real strength, core control, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness — without the repetitive-impact wear that running or jumping sports place on the joints over time.
The pathway is real: school and district meets lead into SGFI and Junior Nationals, and from there toward Senior Nationals, National Games, and international competition — the same route our own head coach came up through as an international diver. Not every child will go all the way, and that's fine; what we promise is a genuine, open pathway for those who want to chase it, coached by someone who has been through it themselves.
It's one of the better fits, actually. A dive session is a fixed hour with a clear structure, away from a screen, that leaves you with a genuine physical and mental reset rather than more decisions to make. It's low-impact enough to sit comfortably alongside a desk-bound week, and most adult beginners join purely for the fitness and headspace — competing is never the requirement.
Both Goregaon Sports Club and the Prabodhankar Centre run full training under the same coaching team, so the honest answer is: whichever is easier for you to get to consistently. Consistency matters more than which pool you pick.
